The pelvic belt you have been provided with is designed to safely support your pelvis at all times, including during and after pregnancy.

Fitting

The belt is worn so that it joins at the front with Velcro above your pubic area.

It sits just slightly higher at the back but not as high as the soft waistline area.

There are shorter supports that come from the middle of the back which are pulled and fitted towards the front with Velcro as firmly as is comfortable.

The first few times you wear it make sure it does not come in contact with your skin in case you decide to exchange it for another more suitable belt or return it and receive a credit voucher.

Wearing

Get used to wearing the belt like you would a new pair of shoes. Start with short periods of time and increase gradually.

It usually is placed over your undergarments and under your clothes.

It is best used when you are mainly standing and walking.

It is not worn in bed and may need to be loosened when you sit.

Washing

Wash your belt in warm soapy water and dry it lying flat.
