At Inner Strength Physiotherapy, we understand that exercise is difficult when you are a parent. We also know that exercise is important for the health of both you and your baby as being active can help prevent health problems and reduce your child’s risk of obesity.

Aquabellies is the perfect way to kip fit during pregnancy and after. It is a great whole body workout for the core (pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles), arms, legs and cardiovascular system. Aquabellies is tailored for your goals and stage of pregnancy or postnatal recovery by a passionate Physiotherapist who knows the right exercises but has also been there and done it too.
I was still attending Aquabellies on my due date and started again at 6 weeks post birth of my last baby, simply because I love it so much. It feels great! It is fun! Music and simple choreographed moves make the workout time fly by. You can work at your own pace depending how you feel. It is energising and mood lifting! No goggle marks! No wet hair! You can talk and socialise with other pregnant women and mums.
It is gentle on the pelvic floor muscles and joints allowing a great work out without straining the body. Helps maintain healthy weight during pregnancy and regaining your figure after birth. Be fit and strong for labour and to help cope with the demands of being a Mum, physically and mentally. Ease aches and pains! Relax in the warm water, enjoy feeling weightless!
Learn helpful tips from the instructor on how to look after your body during the childbearing year. Any age, any stage of pregnancy or postnatal recovery. Any fitness less or level of co-ordination, Aquabellies can benefit you! Oh, yes, we have the pool pretty much to ourselves so no kids running around, splashing and jumping in the water. Feel comfortable in your bathers and your beautiful, amazing bodies as you look after yourself!
